Adopt an Athlete
Did you know that over 50% of our players, at one time or another, access Funding options to help support the cost of registration fees? Our Adopt an Athlete Program provides you with an opportunity to help out with the costs of participating in tackle football.

| Cleats | $50 (junior) - $120 (senior) | Equipment cost is one of the main reasons why youth sport is becoming inaccessible in Ontario. The Lions provide all equipment required to play except cleats. Donors help close this gap by providing funding for new cleats. | Gift card to National Sports is provided to player or player parent for the purchase of new cleats. |
| Registration Fees | Fall Flag (1 Player) $199 | Registration fees are the other reason why sport is becoming inaccessible. Neutralizing the cost of registration helps ensure participation while allowing our non profit to continue operating. | Donation is posted to player account, with notification issued to parent/guardian of credit balance. |
Our Athletes
Our Registrar works with families who could use a helping hand. While we may not be permitted to share the player name with you, we'll ensure your donation makes its way to support a current player with the York Region Family.
