Board Positions up for election:

  • Vice-President (3 years)
    • Field bookings & coordination
    • Onboarding/training of new board members in each of their portfolios
    • Issues resolution
    • Screenings & document control
    • Act as President when he/she is not available
    • Direcut upline for team managers including ongoing training/support
  • Director, Marketing (2 years)
    • Fall & Summer season marketing 
    • Multi-media advertisement of club offerings
    • Booking/representation at events/shows where club can connect with potential new members
    • Swag table at home games to boost onsite sales of club gear
    • Manage square POS
  • Registrar/Secretary (3 years)
    • Records management
    • Coordination of RAMP registration system
    • Minutes at all board meetings, board communications
    • Collections and blocks for club
  • Director, Equipment (2 years)
    • manage equipment lockers
    • coordinate all equipment re-certification and purchases
    • ensure adequate equipment to support teams
    • coordinate all coach/manager/board shirts
    • coordinate equipment fittings
  • Director, Fall Football (2 years)
    • league contact for season
    • trainers/refs booking
    • home game field set up/tear down
    • end of season lockup cleanup
    • equipment fittings/returns with teams
  • Director, Spring Football (2 years)
    • league contact for season
    • trainers/refs booking
    • home game field set up/tear down
    • end of season lockup cleanup
    • equipment fittings/returns with teams
  • Director, Coaching & Player Development (3 years)
    • coordinate all player development activities and events
    • work with Director Flag Football and Director, Development to increase younger age groups, set development programs
    • all coach training
    • hire and vet all rep coaches
    • set standards for coaching and playing with York Region Lions
  • Director, Development (formerly House League) (2 years)
    • full coordination of coaches and programs for development season
    • participation in all weekly sessions
    • setup and execution of Development Champs day
    • equipment fittings and returns
  • Coaching Commissioner (2 years) - non-voting
    • assist Director, Coaching & Player Development in the execution of his/her portfolio
  • Video Commissioner (2 years) - non-voting
    • work with vendors to ensure video of all senior rep games (as league requires)
    • ensure video uploaded to club HUDL accounts
    • HUDL Coordination for club (head coach access, etc.)
  • Treasurer (3 years)
    • all financial management of club finances
    • regular reporting
    • all accounts payable/receivable
    • budget, projections 
    • work with President/Vice-President on high-level club matters
