Development Registration

Registration for our Spring/Summer 2020 Development Season is now open.

Atoms for players born 2010, 2011, 2012 $315.00
Peewee for players born in 2008 or 2009 $315.00

1) Purchase Football Canada Player Insurance ($54)

What is it? Required insurance. You are allowed two practices before you are required to have mandatory insurance. We will not allow any players to participate in practice beyond their two practices. Team managers will be keeping track through attendance at each practice. There are no exceptions.

a) Go to the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) website to purchase:
b) click on Player Registration 2020
c) For association, select OFA - York Simcoe
d) For league select Association Program Only

e) For program type select tackle

f) For head coach enter Melissa Grieco

Take Note: You will be emailed a Football Canada Player Registry Confirmation, note your Access ID

2) Lions Registration ($315)

Please click the registration link below to register your player online. We have recently transitioned to a new CRM, please set up a new profile for your player and upload required identification solicited through the registration process. Select Development and the appropriate age group.

Take Note: Preferred method of payment is online credit card. No cheques will be accepted for registration. 

3) The Development Coordinator will confirm the following is on hand for each player:

  • 2020 OFA Insurance confirmation (Access ID)
  • Identification
  • An active registration in our system


Development Refund Policy

There are no refunds in our development league.

All equipment needed to play will be loaned to each player for the season (with the exception of footwear/cleats). A deposit cheque of $500.00 is required at the time that a player is given equipment. Cheques will be held and returned at the end of a player's season. The equipment must be returned clean and must not be altered in any way. Under no circumstances should tape or stickers be placed on the helmets.
