Session Summary:

An integral part of Football Canada’s National Coaching Certification Program, Safe Contact teaches safe tackling and blocking techniques along with safety education and awareness. Every football player needs to be able to perform the football fundamentals taught in Safe Contact, regardless of what position they play on the field. The Safe Contact module is designed for all NCCP coaches who currently coach tackle football. Techniques and drills to teach safe contact will be highlighted, in addition to learning how to analyze and correct athletic performance.The goal of this module is to provide coaches with the tools required to create a safer environment for their athletes, while improving overall skill level.
