Spring 2024 Flag

1) Purchase Football Canada Player Insurance 

What is it? Required insurance mandated by Football Canada for all participants. You are allowed two practices before you are required to have mandatory insurance with the OFA. We will not allow any players to participate in practice beyond their two practices. Team managers will be keeping track through attendance at each practice. There are no exceptions.

How:
a) Go to the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) website to purchase: https://app.teamlinkt.com/register/go/footballontario/41835/

b) click on Flag Player Registration 2024

c) For association, select York Region Football Association

Take Note: Note your Access ID, which will be emailed to you once registration is complete

2) Lions Registration ($170) 

Each player receives a t shirt, flags and flag belt.  Tournaments, when cleared, are being planned. Please click the registration link below to register your player online. If you require funding support, please contact registrar@yorkregionfootball.com to process a manual registration.

Take Note: The preferred method of payment is an online credit card. All fees must be paid in advance of equipment being issued.

3) Identification - Verifying Age

Family Discount

Families registering 3 or more players will receive a discount per player (a manual refund will be processed after all players are registered)

10% for 2 children
15% for 3 or more.

Spring/Summer Flag Refund Policy

• Voluntary withdrawal prior to May 1, 2024 - fees less $25 administration fee
• No Refund after May 1, 2023
